During the free consultation we go over costs for your situation and check whether a funding program may cover some or all of it. ### Can you help us get funding? Yes. We help you work out which programs may apply — such as PDD, FSCD, Alberta home care and Self-Managed Care, the Veterans Independence Program, or Jordan’s Principle — then prepare and submit the applications and follow up. Each program makes its own decision, so approval isn’t guaranteed. ### What happens in the free consultation? We talk about the person who needs support — their health, routines, culture, and goals — and what the family needs. We answer your questions, explain the options, and suggest a care plan. There is no cost and no obligation. ### Do you have nurses, or only care workers? Both. Registered nurses on our team provide clinical oversight for medication, wound care, chronic-disease monitoring, and complex care needs, alongside our care workers. ### Do you support both seniors and people with disabilities? Yes. We have two service lines: seniors home care, and trauma-informed disability and community support for youths and adults with cognitive disabilities, complex health, or mental health needs. ### Where do you provide care? Edmonton, St. Albert, Leduc, Fort Saskatchewan, Devon, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Calgary, Red Deer, Lethbridge. If your community isn’t listed, call us anyway — we may still be able to help or refer you. ### Can family caregivers get a break? Yes — respite care gives family caregivers planned or short-notice relief, in-home or out-of-home. Funding may be available for respite. ### Can I apply for care online? Yes. You can apply online for yourself or a family member at keyonsharmony.com/apply. Sign in with Google or an email link, save as you go, upload documents such as an assessment or funding letter, and check your application’s status. Only our intake team can read it. ### I’m a social worker or case manager. Can I refer a client? Yes. Refer online at keyonsharmony.com/apply (choose “Professional referral”), call +1 587 850 2645, or email info@keyonsharmony.com, and we’ll arrange a consultation with your client and their family.
