Medication Management & Injections

RN-supervised medication reminders, administration, and injection support as prescribed.

Seniors Home Care
A nurse sorts medication into a weekly pill organizer with an older man at his kitchen table.

Missed doses, double doses, and mixed-up prescriptions are some of the most common — and most preventable — reasons seniors end up in hospital. We help make medications simple, accurate, and safe.

Who it’s for

  • People taking several medications on different schedules
  • Anyone who needs prescribed injections at home
  • Families worried about missed or doubled doses

How we provide care

Depending on what’s needed, we provide reminders, help with administration, or prescribed injections — all supervised by our registered nurses. We keep track of refills and coordinate with the pharmacy so medications don’t run out.

After a doctor’s visit or hospital stay, we help reconcile the medication list so everyone — client, family, and care team — is working from the same, up-to-date information.

Watching for changes

We watch for side effects and changes in how the person is feeling, and share them with the family and health care team, with consent.

How we care

How we treat every client

Whatever the service, the person comes first — not the task list.

  • Dignity first

We knock before we enter, ask before we help, and explain what we’re doing. Privacy and modesty are protected during personal care.

  • Their choices, their routine

The care plan starts with the person — how they like their morning, what they eat, what matters to them — and we follow it.

  • Trauma-informed

Safety, trust, and respect come first. We move at the person’s pace and never force care.

  • Culturally safe

We honour each person’s culture, language, faith, and traditions, and work with families and Indigenous elders where they want us to.

  • Families stay in the loop

You’re part of the care team. We share updates, listen to what you notice, and adjust the plan with you.

  • Nurses behind the team

Registered nurses provide clinical oversight, so care workers have backup for medication, wound care, and changes in health.
