Needing help with bathing or dressing can feel like losing a piece of your independence. Our job is to make it feel like the opposite: a little help, given respectfully, so your loved one can keep living the way they want to at home.
Who it’s for
- Seniors who find bathing, dressing, or getting around harder than it used to be
- People recovering from surgery, illness, or a fall
- Families who are providing personal care themselves and need support
How we provide care
We begin by learning the person’s routine — when they like to get up, how they take their shower, what they can still do on their own. Then we fit around it. Our care workers encourage independence rather than taking over, because doing things for yourself matters.
During personal care we protect privacy and modesty, talk through each step, and never rush. Safe transfers and mobility support help reduce the risk of falls, and our registered nurses are there if skin, continence, or mobility changes need a clinical eye.
Working with your family
You know your loved one best. We ask what you’ve noticed, keep you updated, and adjust the care plan as needs change.
